About the Role

The Project Specialist plays a critical role in bridging the gap between technical execution and administrative coordination. Responsible for overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of automated logistics projects—from initial planning and procurement to on-site installation and final handover—ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with local regulations and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project timelines and track milestones for the installation of automated sorting systems and warehousing solutions.
• Coordinate with headquarters (HQ) engineering teams and local subcontractors to ensure technical specifications are met.
• Oversee on-site activities, optimizing labor and resources for installation and commissioning.
• Manage site safety protocols and ensure all team members adhere to safety standards.
• Handle procurement of local materials, tools, and services required for project execution.
• Manage relationships with local vendors and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-efficiency.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports and technical drawings.
• Prepare and present regular status updates to the team and customer.
• Act as the primary communication link between Chinese technical experts and Thai local staff or clients; facilitate translations of technical manuals or project requirements where necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above, Science/Engineering background (Mechanical, Electrical, etc. preferred).
• 3+ years of project management or project coordination experience; knowledge of core equipment and systems in logistics automation and experience in logistics automation projects are preferred.
• Strong execution and learning abilities, good communication and coordination skills, result-oriented; occasional travel and flexible working hours during critical project phases.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel for Gantt charts and PPT) and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira); basic data analysis skills.
• English can be used as a working language. Proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
