Process Engineer

About the Role

Position: Process Engineer at Benchmark responsible for establishing and improving PCBA/SMT manufacturing processes, supporting NPI projects, and driving quality and cost improvements.

Responsibilities

• Setup PCBA process: routing, tooling, fixtures, and work instructions (WI) for SMT process.
• Improve FPY and provide continuous improvement; communicate with customers to address engineering-related issues.
• Develop process flow, FMEA, and Control Plan for NPI projects.
• Design new manufacturing process requirements and associated guidelines.
• Develop NPI process design according to required techniques and manufacturing processes.
• Ensure compliance with ECO procedures and work instructions.
• Analyze NPI failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Analyze and recommend improvements to production processes and methods for cost reduction and quality improvement.
• Monitor status of new products and ensure effective execution of projects according to policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Telecommunication, Industrial Engineering or related fields.
• 1–5 years experience in EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Service) or related fields.
• Good command of English.
• Leadership, problem-solving, ability to work independently and target-driven.
