Senior Manager - Consolidated GL and Tax

Responsibilities

• General Ledger (Standalone Financial Statements – Thailand): Oversee GL accounting for Thai entities, ensuring compliance with TFRS and Group policies; review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; ensure proper accounting treatment for complex transactions, accruals, and provisions; monitor closing processes and key reconciliations; advise management on accounting and financial reporting matters.
• Group Consolidation & Reporting: Manage Group consolidation in line with TFRS/IFRS; ensure accuracy of intercompany transactions and eliminations; coordinate with local and overseas teams for consistent reporting; support consolidated financial statements and management reports.
• Tax Management: Oversee compliance with Thai taxes (CIT, VAT, WHT); ensure accurate tax accounting, including deferred tax; lead transfer pricing documentation and related-party reporting; provide tax advisory on key transactions and structures.
• Internal Control & Risk: Strengthen controls across GL, consolidation, and tax; liaise with auditors, regulators, and tax authorities; identify and mitigate financial and tax risks.
• People & Stakeholder Management: Lead and develop team members; drive governance and continuous improvement; partner with CFO and senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in accounting and/or tax functions.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, CPD, or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Group consolidation, TFRS/IFRS, and Thai taxation.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking at Group level.
• Background in audit firm would be advantage.
• Ability to manage complex, multi-entity accounting and tax matters.
• Working knowledge of international taxation and Transfer Pricing sufficient to oversee and challenge technical work.
