Internship Mechanical Engineer (CP&TB)

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks (preventive, predictive & corrective maintenance) on production machines.
• Support MMR implementation project and new implementations to fulfill plant requirements.
• Collaborate with the automation team to assist in programming Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for various industrial processes.
• Support and maintain IPC management project and continuous IPC & PLC backups for all equipment.
• Provide OPLs to the maintenance team and ensure quality of information.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in or completion of a bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Control Systems, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Must have and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.8.
• Interested in courses related to control systems, automation, PLC programming, and industrial electronics.
• Able to communicate in English, good in writing and speaking.
• Able to program in C#, C++ or Python.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with engineers, technicians, and other team members.
• Demonstrated initiative to learn new technologies, programming languages, and industrial automation concepts independently.
