T&T Senior Consultant - SAP ABAP - TH

About the Role

This role sits within the SAP team of Deloitte Southeast Asia and focuses on SAP ABAP solutions. As a leader of this group, you will drive the growth of our SAP business in the region and be responsible for the creation, sale and delivery of SAP solutions including Functional and Technical Design, SAP Application & Systems Development, and SAP Business Transformation.

Responsibilities

• Engage clients in workshops and interviews to analyze process and reporting requirements.
• Advise clients on industry and cross-industry leading practices, and on SAP recommended processes and functions.
• Design target-state SAP solutions and influence clients to adopt leading/standard practices.
• Analyze application landscape and design interfaces to SAP solutions.
• Perform SAP configuration and testing; develop specifications for forms, reports and interfaces.
• Lead consultant and client teams through implementation cycles including planning and execution of testing, migration and cutover.
• Support change management by developing training materials, delivering training and supporting users post-cutover.
• Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviours such as commitment to learning and development, effective communication and relationship-building, accountability, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Proven hands-on experience with the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
• Proven experience in implementing SAP Business Process Automation (BPA) solutions.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and data model.
• Strong understanding of various SAP modules and associated business processes (e.g., FI, CO, PS, TR, MM, PM).
• Proficiency in ABAP programming, including ABAP Objects, CDS views, and OData services.
• Experience with SAP Fiori and UI5 development.
• Knowledge of debugging tools and performance tuning techniques in ABAP.
• Familiarity with process mapping and modeling techniques (e.g., BPMN).
• Experience with RPA tools and methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Skills

• Experience with SAP BTP and cloud-native development (preferred).
• Knowledge of integration technologies (APIs, SOAP, REST).
• Certifications in Business Process Management (BPM) or Lean Six Sigma (nice to have).
• Experience with specific SAP BPA tools (e.g., SAP Build Process Automation, SAP IRPA, SAP CPI/PO).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript) for automation development.
