Voice Data Collector – Thailand

About the Role

We are currently looking for people to participate in our remote voice data collection project – Sonata. This project aims to record Thai speech in the form of voicemails that will be used to improve voice recognition technologies for virtual assistants.

DataForce by TransPerfect is part of the TransPerfect family of companies, providing high-quality data for human-machine interaction.

Responsibilities

• Record 20 short voicemails covering a variety of provided scenarios.
• Ensure each voicemail scenario is at least 40 seconds long.
• Submit all recordings for Quality Assurance review and address any feedback provided by the project team.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Idiomatic fluency in Thai.
• Must reside in Thailand.
• Have an iPhone XR or a newer iPhone model, running the latest available iOS version (iOS 18 for iPhone XR/XS/XS Max, iOs 26 for iPhone 11 and newer models fabricated after 2019).

Benefits

• Compensation: $10 USD for completion of 20 voicemails.

Additional Information

• This is a remote project in Thailand.
• Estimated time: up to 1 hour (including preparation) to record the 20 voicemail scenarios.
• Quality Assurance team will review all submissions to ensure they meet project-specific requirements; the project team will provide feedback after quality check.
