Thai Conversation Dialogue Audio Recording Project

About the Role

We are gathering Thai conversation dialogue audio recordings to improve EV car speech recognition in Thai. Recordings are made using the FunCrowd app; you and your partner must be in separate rooms and connect via the app. The project will take a total of 3 hours, including setup.

Responsibilities

• Complete 7 recordings during the procedure using topics provided (16 topics available).
• For each topic, improvise a 20–30 minute conversation with your partner and record via the FunCrowd app on your phone.
• Speakers take turns; balance speaking time so no one speaks more than 2–3 minutes in a row and maintain natural interactivity.
• Record in a quiet place with the phone placed close to your ear; the app records like a normal phone call.

Qualifications

• Thai speaker.
• Access to a smartphone worth more than 100 USD.
• Quiet place with reliable WiFi.
• Preferably bring your own conversation partner, or find partners in the LINE OpenChat group.
• If you have previously joined a Thai conversation in the FunCrowd app, please do not join again.
