Manager, Business Controller (Lamphun)

About the Role

Assist in leading strategic collaborations with business unit discussions to understand their operations and contribute to financial discussions. Act as an advisor for less complex topics within a pre-defined scope by providing financial insights and recommendations for decision making, including CAPEX investment and changes in operating processes.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Finance Business Partnering: support business unit discussions and provide financial insights and recommendations for decision making, including CAPEX and operating process changes
• Financial Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting: assist in developing and maintaining financial models, templates, and processes for budgeting, forecasting, and planning; support budgeting and forecasting with business units; proactively analyze financial performance to generate insights and align inputs with corporate objectives
• Performance Monitoring: monitor KPIs and financial metrics, track actual results vs targets; identify trends, risks, and opportunities; support benchmarking analysis to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities
• Financial Reporting and Communication: prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports to senior management and business leaders; provide concise explanations for variances by connecting operational actions to root causes and financial drivers; ensure accuracy of accounting transactions for responsible cost center with focus on standard cost, production variance, and fixed assets
• Process Optimization: identify and implement basic process improvement initiatives in the financial function and participate in implementing best practices to enhance efficiency
• Product Cost: assist in monitoring costing, operational BOM and routing; support identification of improvements in BOM, routing, and standard costing concepts when required
• Compliance and Risk Management: assist in ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies and contribute to identifying and addressing financial risks through established controls
• Leadership and Team Development: assist in providing guidance and mentorship to the team
