Maintenance Engineer - Ayutthaya (SPX Express)

About the Role

SPX Express - Maintenance Engineer based at Ayutthaya (SOCN). Onsite, full-time role supporting warehouse sorting systems and automated machinery.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze primary equipment downtime to identify trends, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement long-term corrective actions.
• Develop and execute comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance schedules and inspections for warehouse sorting systems and automated machinery.
• Lead planning, installation, and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to technical specifications.
• Minimize unplanned breakdowns through proactive troubleshooting and the implementation of a data-driven maintenance culture.
• Support and enforce Corporate Safety (EHS), Environmental, and Quality Management Systems to maintain a zero-incident workplace.
• Monitor and optimize maintenance budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising reliability or safety.
• Generate and manage system change documentation (MOC) to enhance machine efficiency, performance, and reliability.
• Supervise and mentor a team of technicians, conduct performance evaluations, and provide technical guidance to ensure departmental KPIs are met.

Qualifications

• Based at Ayutthaya (SOCN).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 0–5 years of industrial maintenance or plant engineering; fresh graduates welcome.
• Technical proficiency with industrial machinery and automated sorting systems.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Autodesk AutoCAD) for layout design and technical documentation.
• Deep understanding of local and international mechanical codes, safety regulations, and legal compliance standards.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to manage and motivate a technical team; exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills under high-pressure situations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across departments.
• Highly adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment.
• Professional working proficiency in English for technical reading of manuals and effective communication with international vendors.
