About the Role

Buyer / Senior Buyer - Fashion (onsite, full-time) at Central Retail.

Responsibilities

• Set up strategies Open to buy (OTB) along with standards for product selection, pricing, gross sales, sales areas, product examination, and sales promotion to develop product management following international standards, differentiate products from competitors, establish acceptable pricing, and achieve highest profitability.
• Analyse important data to support setting up policies, plans, directions, and market positions for overall buying and merchandising to manage up-to-date and align with market needs and target groups.
• Plan to build and maintain relationships with top suppliers to develop and maintain business benefits and create alignment in buying and merchandising effectively.
• Evaluate market trends and competitor situations, including analyzing target information and competitive landscape to set up strategies for product management and development, and buying and merchandising effectively.
• Develop and improve product management systems to ensure effective operations aligning with organizational needs and current situations.
• Follow up and monitor the analysis of gross sales to achieve divisional goals.
• Monitor overall shelf organization, product presentation, and visual merchandising aligning with store image to create consistency in product presentation and attract target customers.
• Coordinate with related functions to ensure effective operations.
• Supervise and advise subordinates to ensure effective performance and preparation for promotions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of buyer or merchandise relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of business trends, market conditions, and products under responsibility.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
• Experience in import fashion or street fashion products will be given special consideration.
