Lead Structural Engineer

About the Role

In this position you will join our Built Environment business and play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists delivering building and transport, land and water infrastructure projects. You will produce and review structural calculations, technical drawings, specifications and reports, and provide design support using finite element and structural analysis programs.

Responsibilities

• Produce and review structural calculations, technical drawings, specifications and reports
• Design both high-rise and low-rise buildings; design experience in RC, post-tensioned and steel structures relevant to Building/Property sector
• Create and analyse models using finite element / structural analysis programs (for example STAAD PRO, SAFE, SAP2000, ETABS)
• Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team and liaise with professionals from other disciplines
• Commit to mastering core engineering and technical skills and contribute to complex, large-scale and tall-building projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• Possess an Associated/Professional Engineer License certified by the Council of Engineers, Thailand (2nd level Engineer License preferred)
• At least 10 years design experience with a consulting engineering company is an advantage
• Good English communication skills and computer literate
• Knowledge of structural analysis programs such as RAPT, ETABS, SAP2000 and SAFE is an advantage
• Design experience in tall building and large-scale projects is an advantage
