QA Engineer

About the Role

QA Engineer (Manual & Automation) — CJ MORE. We are looking for a QA Engineer who enjoys both manual and automation testing to help ensure the quality of our web, mobile, backend, and AI-powered applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, UAT, and exploratory testing.
• Conduct API testing using Postman, Swagger, REST APIs, and related tools.
• Identify, track, and verify defects while collaborating closely with developers and product teams.
• Execute testing on web and mobile applications, including real-device testing and complex user workflows.
• Maintain and enhance automation test suites using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Newman, or similar frameworks.
• Convert manual test cases into automated tests where appropriate.
• Validate system quality, usability, and performance before production releases.
• Continuously improve QA processes, testing strategies, and product quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Software QA, with strong manual testing experience.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, software testing methodologies, and defect lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience with API testing (Postman, REST APIs, JSON, HTTP Methods).
• Good knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Additional Information

• Experience with automation testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Newman, Selenium, or similar.
• Experience testing mobile applications and real-device environments.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud platforms (e.g., GCP).
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Exposure to AI-powered products or AI output validation.
• Good command of English.
