Senior Mobile App Developer (Android) (Contractor)

About the Role

The Senior Mobile App Developer (Android) at Seven Peaks focuses on improving current development approaches. Keen on architecture, patterns and automatization. Assists other members of the team in development applications functionality, participates in code reviews and group training. Knows how to provide professional presentations and be interested in teaching others, dig into complex code implementations, automated testing and improving code quality approaches.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full mobile application development lifecycle
• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Work with external data sources and APIs
• Unit test code for robustness
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Thai native with high level of proficiency in written and spoken English
• 3+ years of solid Android development experience (Kotlin a distinct advantage)
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK and fluency in Java and related frameworks
