About the Role: Licensing Intern, WildBrain CPLG (Thailand)

The Licensing Intern for WildBrain CPLG in Thailand will support strategic licensing initiatives by assisting with market research, cultural adaptation, and partnership development. This role offers hands-on experience in licensing and merchandising, enabling the intern to contribute to the localization of international brands for the Thai market. The intern will also assist in relationship-building efforts with local stakeholders, gaining valuable insight into the entertainment and consumer goods industry.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the licensing and entertainment industries while working with global brands in a local context.

Job Description

  • Support Strategic Licensing Efforts: Assist in identifying licensing opportunities and potential partnerships in the Thai market. Contribute to research on local licensees and industries that align with WildBrain CPLG’s goals.
  • Market Research & Insights: Conduct research on market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitors within Thailand. Prepare reports with actionable insights to guide licensing and marketing strategies.
  • Brand Localization & Cultural Adaptation: Support efforts to adapt international brands for Thai consumers, ensuring cultural relevance. Collaborate with departments to provide input on product design and marketing strategies that resonate locally.
  • Contract and Negotiation Assistance: Assist the team with the preparation and review of agreements with local partners. Ensure documentation aligns with Thai legal standards and WildBrain CPLG’s guidelines.
  • Business Development Support: Help maintain relationships with local stakeholders, including retailers and licensees. Act as a point of contact for partners, ensuring clear communication and follow-ups.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, law or a related field.
  • Interest in licensing, branding, and consumer goods industries.
  • Basic knowledge of the Thai market and cultural trends is a plus.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to a fast-paced team environment
  • The minimum commitment for this internship is 6 months, with a requirement of at least 3 days of work per week.
