VP / Head of Data Center Business

About the Role

We are seeking a Business Unit Head for Data Center to lead and scale our data center business. This role is not a purely technical position — it requires a strategic business leader who can drive growth, investments, partnerships, and end-to-end project delivery. You will be responsible for building the business, shaping strategy, and ensuring successful execution across all phases.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Data Center Business Unit with full accountability for P&L, growth, and performance.
• Define and execute the business strategy, market entry, and expansion roadmap.
• Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams and position the company as a key player in the data center ecosystem in Thailand.
• Lead feasibility studies, financial modeling, and investment analysis for new projects; drive investment decisions and business case development.
• Lead commercial negotiations with partners, investors, and key stakeholders and build/maintain relationships with government, regulators, and strategic partners.
• Oversee end-to-end project delivery as the Owner’s Representative; ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
• Provide strategic direction on technical matters (no need to be hands-on) and manage/mitigate risks across design, construction, commissioning, and operations.
• Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and partners and represent the company in industry forums and key stakeholder engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related fields.
• Minimum 12+ years of experience in data centers, infrastructure, energy, or related industries.
• Proven track record in leading a business, business unit, or large-scale projects.
• Strong commercial mindset with experience in driving growth, revenue, and profitability.
• Ability to bridge business strategy and technical understanding (not required to be deeply technical).
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English.
