Field Service Engineer (Pharma)-based in Taipei

Responsibilities

• Support commissioning, installations and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) of new machines at customer sites and, where necessary, during FAT at our Centres of Competence (CoCs).
• Update and complete site documentation and perform all related reporting and filings for service activities.
• Perform general field service activities including preventative maintenance, calibrations, overhauls, fault finding, machine inspections and spare parts listing.
• Provide technical advice to customers (ASM and ASA) on site or via telecommunication; clarify problems and solutions with CoCs as needed.
• Recommend necessary technical improvements (overhauls, modernizations, modifications) and spare-parts replacements; explain the service job before starting and after completion, create and follow up on open points.
• Additional Senior FSE duties: perform site management, supervise and train other field service engineers.

Qualifications

• Prefer local Taiwanese who can communicate in the local language.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechatronics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years working experience in the Pharmaceutical / Packaging industry.
• Good verbal and written English skills.
• Ability to make updates to Rockwell / Siemens PLC programs and HMI.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% within the Asia / Pacific region.
