Datacenter Engineering (Facilities Management) - Infrastructure Engineering

About the Role

The Datacenter Infrastructure Engineering team builds and operates hyperscale datacenters, managing the end-to-end lifecycle of server fleet and infrastructure services to ensure scalability, reliability, security, and cost efficiency. The team seeks candidates with strong technical infrastructure backgrounds who can design systems and platforms at scale and influence global processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the DC Operations team as a Subject Matter Expert to understand and manage design limitations and risks.
• Regularly audit, review, and collaborate with CoLocation Partners on their maintenance programs and effectiveness.
• Participate in and review Data Hall fit-outs to confirm design specifications are being followed.
• Manage and drive the change management process for high-risk maintenance activities in data centers.
• Maintain positive and collaborative working relations with partner teams, vendors, teammates, and internal customers.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Diploma or Professional Certification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant discipline, with more than 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Knowledge of standard power and cooling calculations to determine capacity requirements (e.g., TIA-942, ASHRAE).
• Experience with power redundancy implementations (e.g., 2N or N+1) and cooling redundancy / concurrent maintainability designs (e.g., N+1 or N+2).
• Experience supervising Data Hall fit-out construction, including IT services coordination, power and cooling planning.
• Ability to influence testing and commissioning teams to perform L1 to L5 commissioning tests to validate system design intent and resolve technical problems.
• Electrical and/or mechanical engineering experience with generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, UPS, electrical sub-distribution systems, etc.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to clarity and detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• High level of agility with ability to prioritize work and stay organized in a complex, fast-paced environment.
• Vendors, projects, or program engagement experience.
• Good judgment with a calculated risk approach during uncertainties.
