About the Role

We are hiring a Staff Software Engineer – Front End to lead Agoda’s front-end architecture and transformation, drive high-performance, accessible web experiences at scale, and mentor FE engineers across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead architecture and system design of Agoda’s next-gen front-end systems
• Drive best-in-class performance, accessibility, usability and core web vitals
• Mentor and act as subject-matter-expert for front-end engineering teams
• Influence stakeholders across Product and Business teams and set technical standards
• Ensure scalability and maintainability of SPA/SSR front-end platforms

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience building and leading rich web applications at scale
• Deep mastery of JavaScript / TypeScript and modern frameworks (React, Next, Vue)
• Proven experience building robust, high-performance SPA/SSR front ends and improving core web vitals
• Strong background in team leadership, system design and stakeholder influence
• Nice to have: experience with A/B experimentation, international products, or travel/e-commerce
