Supply Chain Manager - Global Logistics

About the Company

ByteDance (founded 2012). The Global Logistics team supports data center deployments and lifecycle activities across regions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive logistics end-of-life programs for data center hardware, including decommissioning, retrofit, relocation and liquidation plans.
• Manage inbound and outbound logistics for data center deployment and reverse logistics; oversee supplier warehouses and LSPs or internal warehouse activities.
• Drive and manage day-to-day warehouse operations: inbound, outbound, RMA, transfers, stock take, and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Act as first point of escalation for supply chain operational matters within assigned regions and monitor/report operational KPIs (asset accuracy, discrepancies).
• Audit operational process flows to ensure compliance with logistics management and finance requirements.
• Support last-mile delivery processes to LSPs / integrated warehouses and perform physical warehouse activities (goods receiving, transfers, distribution) in systems.
• Manage customs compliance and clearance: ensure imports/exports meet Thai customs requirements (tariff classification, valuation, documentation), coordinate with 3PLs, freight forwarders, government agencies and customs authorities, and use Thai Customs e-MT system.
• Stay updated on changes in Thai customs laws, tariffs and trade agreements and act as primary liaison with customs officers and relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply, Infrastructure Engineering, Network, Security and Platform teams; be hands-on to support operational activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor degree in supply chain/logistics management or equivalent experience.
• More than 5 years of supply chain and logistics management experience within the data center space.
• Familiarity with TMS, WMS and inventory management systems and ability to perform inventory discrepancy interventions.
• Proficient with customs clearance software/tools (e.g., Thai Customs e-MT) and strong knowledge of Thai import/export regulations, documentation and compliance procedures.
• Experience executing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and collaborating across internal/external organizations; hands-on approach required.
• Professional proficiency in English required.
• Preferred: Master degree in supply chain management; experience with data center hardware (servers, network equipment); analytical skills to query data sources; regional/global trade regulations experience; Licensed Customs Broker (Thai) a plus.
