Director Operations & Technical Service (f/m/d)

About the Company

Welcome to BWF Envirotec, Thailand. We are establishing a new production site in Rayong and seek an experienced, entrepreneurial leader willing to relocate to Thailand to support the start-up and development of the manufacturing site during its ramp-up phase. The role is hands-on and international, focused on building structures, teams and processes from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop the production team on all machines to ensure efficient, safe and quality-oriented production
• Train and lead the technical service team to ensure reliable maintenance, repair and high availability of all machinery and facilities
• Develop and implement cleaning plans, maintenance routines and preventive measures to keep all equipment in excellent condition
• Establish stable workflows, clear information flows and transparent reporting structures
• Ensure effective communication and cooperation between Production, Technical Service and Quality Control
• Ramp up production capacity according to management requirements, including introduction of shift models and continuous operations
• Follow up on open items from machine installation, transfer and commissioning
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement of processes, efficiency and technical standards

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent technical vocational education with at least 5 years of professional experience in Production and/or Technical Service Management
• Proven leadership experience in a comparable role; experience in the textile or manufacturing industry is an advantage
• Strong hands-on experience in both technical service (maintenance, repair) and production operations
• Solid mechanical and electrical knowledge and good understanding of PLC systems and machine control programs
• Strong analytical skills combined with structured project management capabilities
• Ability to train, coach and further develop technical and production teams
• High level of accuracy, reliability and sense of responsibility; strong problem-solving mindset with a practical, solution-oriented approach
• High cultural awareness and sensitivity for international and multicultural environments
• Willingness to relocate to Thailand for a long-term assignment
