Production Control Manager

About the Role

The Production Control Manager is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating manufacturing operations to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and quality standards. This role plays a key part in optimizing production workflows, managing resources, and collaborating across departments to meet customer demands.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee production schedules to meet customer and internal requirements
• Monitor production processes and adjust schedules to address delays or changes
• Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and quality control teams to ensure material availability and compliance
• Implement cost control measures and process improvements
• Maintain accurate production records and generate performance reports for senior management
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Lead and mentor production control staff
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in production planning or manufacturing operations
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling tools
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies
• Good communication skills in English; Chinese is an advantage
