Position: Asia Quality Validations Engineer
Location: AEL-EOLT Amata, Chonburi

About the Role

This role is responsible for leading project validation activities across the Asia Zone for Mass Production and Rx industrial laboratories, with a focus on New Product Introduction (NPI) and industrial projects including process and raw material validation. The role contributes to the Group’s sustainability mission by ensuring validation, quality, and project activities comply with regulatory, safety, and sustainability standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support the innovation and validation cycle for new products and technologies (lenses, materials, coatings, complex systems, digital solutions, services).
• Lead product and process validation against requirements such as safety, regulatory compliance, performance claims, and consumer satisfaction.
• Apply quality tools and methodologies, including risk assessment, concept analysis, and process validation.
• Prepare and maintain required project documentation (eg. Risk Analyses, Test Plans, Development Reviews).
• Act as a key interface with production, engineering, plant quality, corporate quality, Innovation Quality, R&D, Manufacturing Engineering, and market teams.
• Support project teams with root cause analysis and follow up on corrective and preventive action plans.
• Use appropriate data analysis tools to manage and interpret technical and commercial data from multiple sources and maintain the project validation database.
• Ensure validation processes follow correct tools, methods, and governance steps; serve as a zone-level reference and deliver training on validation methodologies and risk management as required.
• Promote a continuous improvement mindset; proactively identify and implement opportunities to improve validation, quality, and industrial processes in collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
• 5–8 years of experience in Quality, Process Engineering, or Manufacturing environments.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Strong technical knowledge of quality systems, process control, and statistical analysis.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Minitab.
