Procurement Lead - PCM, Marketplace

About the Role

Procurement Lead - PCM, Marketplace at Shopee. Formulate strategies around upstream/downstream procurement including planning, execution, review, renewals, and procurement excellence. Serve as business partner to Business Unit Heads and stakeholders to understand needs and define short- and long-term priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day procurement activities, manage timelines, identify and resolve bottlenecks, and monitor progress to goals
• Drive sourcing strategies and supplier negotiations, and manage procurement contracts
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers ensuring alignment with quality, cost, delivery, and compliance requirements
• Develop sensitivity models (change in material costs, supply risk) to proactively manage P&L volatility
• Present in-depth reviews of critical procurement proposals to leadership for approval
• Drive continuous improvements in sourcing, governance, projects, and procurement excellence
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand sourcing needs and provide strategic guidance and support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
• 5 to 8 years proven experience in procurement, especially in supply chains, logistics, or warehousing industry
• At least 2+ years in a reporting manager capacity
• Prior knowledge across procurement sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation
• Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
• Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make decisions
• Good understanding of Thai commercial law and contract structuring
• Familiarity with procurement-related software: sourcing, vendor management, communication, bidding, etc.
• English and Thai language proficiency
