Financial Controller

About the Role

Financial Controller (Work every other Saturdays) at Premier Canning Industry co.,ltd. Onsite, full-time role responsible for overall accounting, tax, budgeting and financial control.

Responsibilities

• Lead and responsible for daily accounting, settlement, and taxation to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, accounting standards, taxation standards, Thailand regulations and audit requirements.
• Ensure the company complies with all local legislation with timely filing of all tax and other required forms such as DBD and BOI annual reports.
• Prepare annual budget, forecasting cost and financial control.
• Perform monthly accounting activities, including preparing monthly journal entries related to the lease accounting system and other necessary adjustments for correct accounting closing.
• Preparation of consolidated financial statements and notes to financial statements (quarterly and year-end).
• Work closely with external auditor for quarterly review and audited financial statements.
• Validate and verify costing and send to the marketing department for presentation to customers.
• Manage foreign exchange rates and forwarding contracts.
• Manage ad-hoc special projects as required by the business.
• Prepare a rolling plan every 3 months to keep informed of business trends.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent; MBA is an advantage.
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting & finance in a management level position.
• Experience in food manufacturing, export business and BOI.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Good communications in English.
• Proactive, assertive, strong analytical skills, creative, eager for success, straightforward and results-driven.
