Application Advanced Engineer

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering drawings when requested using CAD software (DraftSight or CATIA)
• Act as contact person for data management and CAD work
• Ensure all drawing-related tasks fulfill requirements correctly
• Initiate and review engineering documents (DFMEA, DGD, SC/CC List, etc.) following Autoliv standards
• Generate CV/DV/PV test items in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements
• Lead Design Review sessions with cross-functional teams
• Create mockup parts to support prototype events as requested by customers
• Cooperate with cross-functional teams on design and process matters
• Support processes/procedures and implementation of Autoliv CAD standards and Cushion CAD design guidelines
• Use Autoliv PLM (Engineering Data Management System) for drawing storage under correct project areas
• Support processes/procedures and implementation of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001
• Collaborate with suppliers on design and process concerns
• Solve and analyze job-related problems efficiently
• Lead high-profile projects (high value/short lead time/new customer)
• Self-certify tasks and basic issues
• Mentor Application Engineers when needed
• Other tasks as assigned by Application Manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• 2-5 years experience in product design engineering, project engineering, or related field
• Good English communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Strong information management skills (IT/PC software)
• Ability to deliver global presentations
• Ability to learn new technology
