Specialist, Production

Responsibilities

• Drive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the responsible production area to ensure products and projects are delivered on time with high quality standards and optimal cost efficiency.
• Monitor and control daily production performance, ensuring targets are met while maintaining best manufacturing practices.
• Maintain strong shop floor presence to oversee production operations, identify issues, and quickly respond to operational challenges.
• Analyse production data and quality performance to identify improvement opportunities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
• Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving for production issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions to ensure sustainable improvements.
• Ensure manufacturing processes (e.g., Work Instructions, Routing, and standard processes) align with production plans and support the transition from pre-production to mass production.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and projects, working closely with relevant teams to enhance production efficiency, quality, and overall operational performance.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in chemical production or manufacturing environments, with hands-on operational experience.
• Experience working on improvement initiatives or project management in manufacturing or production settings.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in both Thai and English.
• Good understanding of engineering methodology and improvement techniques.
• Strong analytical and data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret production data and identify improvement opportunities.
• Proficient in PowerPoint and other tools for preparing clear and effective presentations.
• Flexible and able to work overtime on Saturdays when required.
