About the Role

BDC is looking for an experienced Security Manager to be based in our Chonburi Data Centre. This key role will ensure physical safety of all visitors, employees and customers to the Company’s facilities and the security of property and assets owned by the Company.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all physical security operations for Bridge Data Centres Thailand, ensuring safety of facilities, visitors, and compliance with company policies and Thai law.
• Lead and manage the Security Department, including strategy, planning, and performance.
• Plan and enforce all security measures and security systems accordingly.
• Implement and manage day-to-day security operations to ensure all entities’ safety and satisfaction.
• Command response to any emergency/crisis and high-profile incident/accident on security related matters and execute Emergency Procedure (EP) to minimise/mitigate impact to employees, environment, company assets, business and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders such as Property Operations, Critical Operations, and other elite forces in the company.
• Enforce disciplinary action against Security Team members involved in misconduct.
• Build and maintain good relationships with tenants and ensure high standard of customer service to tenants.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by the company.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with at least 8 years of working experience in security.
• Proficient in English across all mediums of communication and able to write routine reports and correspondence in English.
• Good knowledge of local laws related to security and safety.
• Proven experience operating as a security specialist managing a team.
• Any practicing license related to security is an advantage.
• Possesses strong leadership skills, team player, and thorough understanding of security management obligations, requirements and dynamics.
• Ability to provide security services with a high degree of professional responsibility, accountability and integrity.
