About the Role

Responsibilities

• Keep refreshing Technology Knowledge: Update new technology related to data and AI, e.g. Azure services, AWS services, GCP services, Databricks, and other enterprise tools.
• Initial Gather Requirements: Meet with stakeholders to understand needs, conduct interviews and surveys, review existing systems to identify gaps, and document functional and non-functional requirements. And assist sales executives during technical presentations.
• Design Proposed Solution: Design the overall architecture, POC and prototypes, and present the design for stakeholder feedback and approval.
• Estimated Implementation Efforts: Define work breakdown structure, estimate time and resources, develop a project timeline, and identify risks with mitigation strategies.
• Create Proposal Document: Write an executive summary, detail the solution design, outline the implementation plan and timeline.
• Pitching Project: Prepare a compelling presentation, invite key stakeholders, deliver the presentation focusing on benefits and ROI, address questions and concerns, and follow up for approval and commitment.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of Experience in Cloud processing, ETL, or BI design and development.
• Good knowledge of Data Analytics Platform, Data Warehouse, BigData, and related areas.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Professional skills, e.g. establishing personal credibility, strong oral and written communication, addressing questions.
• Able to work with Sales Team, Analysts, supervisor, and end-users to understand client’s needs.
• Strong presentation and feedback incorporation skills.
• Good knowledge of Azure, AWS, Databricks, GCP, Informatica, DataStage, Tableau, PowerBI, Cloudera, or other enterprise tools is a plus.
• Proficiency in SQL/Python is beneficial.
• Proficiency in English communication and writing is a plus.
• Experience in data modeling and database design is a plus.
• Experience in solution architecture is a plus.
