Packaging Technology Specialist

About the Role

Packaging Technology Specialist responsible for ensuring food safety and packaging quality across packaging materials and production lines at Thai Asia Pacific Brewery Co., Ltd.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food safety, packaging quality, and compliance with company standards and local regulations
• Monitor and improve Packaging First Time Right (FTR) and reduce packaging-related customer complaints
• Lead and support trials and developments for packaging materials (cans, glass bottles, cartons, labels, closures)
• Apply statistical and quality tools to monitor and improve process performance
• Support shopfloor problem-solving, TPM activities, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide technical input and validation support for New Product Introduction (NPI) and projects
• Work closely with packaging material suppliers, including trials, testing, and supplier audits
• Translate food safety and quality standards into practical shopfloor execution
• Prepare structured documentation, reports, and training materials for packaging teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Packaging Technology, Food Science, or related field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Packaging Technology from Food / Beverage, or FMCG manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of Food safety & Quality systems (e.g. HACCP, ISO 9001, FSSC 22000) & Thai FDA regulations
• Hands-on experience working with production lines and cross-functional teams
• Confident communicator who can act as a trusted technical advisor
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to analyze data, manage projects and packaging trials, and deliver results
• Demonstrates a strong ownership mindset, taking accountability for quality and results
• Uses a data-driven and continuous improvement mindset to challenge the status quo
• Good working proficiency in English
• Familiarity with AI-enabled tools is an advantage
