About the Role

Functions in an entry level capacity. Under close supervision, supports engineering teams by performing technical tasks that require basic knowledge of engineering principles and practices. Utilizes digital tools and design software (CAD, BIM, 3D tools, etc.) and standardized procedures to assist in the creation, modification, and maintenance of technical documentation, drawings, and project deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Develop familiarity with and maintain working knowledge of standards, systems, document control, departmental guides and company policies and procedures.
• Ensure deliverables are accurate and compliant by understanding and complying with the BV Quality Program.
• Demonstrate personal accuracy and support continuous improvement and change management efforts.
• Learn applications required to modify less complex deliverables based on a variety of design inputs.
• Begin to identify the needs of internal clients and gain a basic understanding of external clients' main interests and drivers.
• Proactively seek and share knowledge of latest technologies and processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate preferred. Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.
