About the Role

Finance Operations Excellence Manager — Bangkok-based. Relocation provided. Lead efforts to reimagine and optimize finance processes, identify improvement opportunities, implement best-in-class solutions, and support the development of a world-class finance operations center.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and implement process improvements across finance operations (AP, AR, GL, payments, reconciliations) to drive efficiency, accuracy and business value; execute VSMs and Kaizens independently and apply AI/ML and GenAI trends where appropriate.
• Leverage data analytics to identify trends and root causes using lean methods; develop dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs and process health.
• Support and/or lead cross-functional projects with finance, product, technology and business teams, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and effective stakeholder communication.
• Create macro-based solutions and/or collaborate with technology teams to automate manual processes using RPA, workflow tools and other digital solutions.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs and training materials; be conversant with BPMN standards and process documentation tools.
• Identify and support implementation of internal controls and quality assurance measures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.

Skills / Required Skills

• Experience with process mapping, process reengineering, and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
• Solid understanding of finance operations processes (OTC, PTP, RTR); experience as a user of these processes is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills; ability to work with large datasets, perform detailed root cause analysis, and generate actionable improvement plans.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience creating Excel macros to automate processes preferred.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Familiarity with finance systems (ERP, SAP, Oracle) and automation tools (RPA, Alteryx, UiPath) is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience driving improvements in finance operations.
• Experience in a tech or e-commerce environment is an advantage.
• Professional certifications (CA, PMP, CPA) are a plus.
