Assistant to Factory Manager

About the Role

Job Title: Assistant to Factory Manager at APM Monaco. Location: No. 2, 4, Soi Sukhaphiban 2, Soi 31, Dokmai, Prawet, Bangkok 10250, Thailand. Reports To: Factory Manager.

The Assistant Factory Manager is responsible for supporting daily factory operations, production planning, workforce supervision, quality control, and continuous improvement activities to ensure production targets, quality standards, and operational efficiency are achieved. Experience in the jewelry manufacturing industry and knowledge of production operations are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Factory Manager in overseeing daily factory and production operations.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure on-time delivery of production targets.
• Supervise production teams and coordinate manpower allocation effectively.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Analyze production performance and implement improvement plans to increase productivity and reduce waste.
• Support troubleshooting of production issues and equipment-related problems.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
• Train and guide production staff to improve operational performance and teamwork.
• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy for raw materials and finished goods.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
• Communicate with internal teams, suppliers, management, and HQ regarding production status, planning, quality matters, timelines, and operational improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in factory operations or production management.
• Background in jewelry industry and production area is required.
• Able to communicate effectively in English or Chinese.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control.
• Leadership and team management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/manufacturing systems.
• Knowledge of workplace safety and operational compliance standards.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Work Environment

Work in both office and manufacturing/industrial environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in jewelry manufacturing production management.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience handling operational reporting and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
