Strategic Planning Specialist

About the Role

Act as an internal consultant to the CEO, ensuring seamless integration and synchronization of the organization's strategic priorities, and manage CEO special projects and assignments across all departments.

• Lead, manage and implement corporate strategic projects.
• Lead and manage teams to conduct thorough business analysis and ensure strategic alignment with business goals.
• Review corporate performance, market positioning, and competitive advantage.

Responsibilities

• Business Opportunity Identification: Identify business opportunities that drive revenue growth and profitability; conduct business analysis including data and statistical analysis and feasibility studies; present business plans to senior management/committees for approval; collaborate with business units to ensure effective implementation.
• Business Analysis: Analyze the competitive landscape, business climate, and technological trends, and the company's market position; provide insights and recommendations to inform business strategies.
• Corporate Performance Management: Develop and monitor corporate performance metrics, including key corporate projects and KPIs, and communicate these metrics to business units to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
• Annual Planning Process: Lead the annual planning process, set key corporate KPIs (financial and non-financial), and guide senior executives in formulating action plans aligned with the company's strategic direction.
• Ad-Hoc Assignment: Perform ad-hoc analysis and assignments for corporate-wide and functional improvements, identifying opportunities for enhancement.

Skills

• In-depth understanding of business, management, and business forecasting.
• Ability to navigate and manage complexity, ambiguity, and uncertainties while engaging and aligning diverse interests.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrable strategic thinking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Thai and English.
• Capable of managing assigned work with minimal supervision and demonstrating leadership to inspire and guide teams.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or industry-related field required.
• At least 5 years of experience in Corporate Strategy, Business Planning, Marketing Strategy, Business Consulting, or a similar field; experience in the insurance industry is preferred.
