Technical Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Provide intermediate technical direction and assistance to customers regarding the use of product lines and application technologies.
• Respond to complex customer questions and concerns and serve as a technical expert for one or multiple technologies.
• Facilitate account management in coordination with sales and perform account management and sales activities.
• Assist customers with improving operational quality and efficiency by providing technical guidance and advice.
• Communicate technical and operational concepts to support sales efforts and work with line and management personnel.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent education and experience.
• Knowledge of industry and product application concepts and procedures; understanding of advanced technical (lab, research, etc.) principles and practices.
• Ability to apply expert principles within an area or general principles across multiple service areas.
• Experience providing technical customer service and guidance to improve quality and efficiency.
• Experience performing account management and sales activities and working with line and management personnel.
• PC skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other applications as required.
• Ability to communicate with co-workers to provide and receive direction.
