Videographer

About the Role

Job Title: Videographer at Odixcity Consulting. Location: Remote. Employment Type: Contract.

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and highly skilled Videographer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end production of engaging visual content, including conceptualising video ideas, operating production equipment, and editing raw footage into polished final cuts.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop video concepts, storyboards, and shot lists.
• Capture high-quality video footage using professional-grade cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
• Set up, maintain, and properly store production equipment (cameras, microphones, stabilizers, lighting kits).
• Edit raw footage, sequence clips, ensure smooth transitions, perform sound mixing, and color correction.
• Add music, subtitles, motion graphics, and special effects to match brand guidelines.
• Export and format final video files optimised for digital platforms (YouTube, Instagram Reels, TikTok, websites).
• Organise, tag, and securely archive all media files and project assets.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Film Production, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related creative field.
• Minimum 3–5 years proven experience in videography and video editing.
• Proficiency in industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Solid technical understanding of camera operation (DSLR/Mirrorless/Cinema), lighting techniques, and sound recording.
• Strong portfolio or demo reel demonstrating shooting, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Strong creative flair, excellent communication skills, and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Keen eye for visual composition, focus, exposure, and narrative flow.
• Must have a strong backup power supply and internet connection, and a working laptop.
