About the Role

Responsible for driving pursuit teams in the management (preparation, assembly, review, and submittal) of responses to Requests for Proposals (RFP) across APAC. Assigned proposals may range from small to mega-project scope and generally have medium to very high risk profiles, including JV and consortium arrangements. This role interfaces with sales managers, project directors and project managers to develop proposal execution strategy, schedules, project execution plans and win strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive pursuit teams in preparation, assembly, review and submittal of RFP responses in accordance with governance for proposals of varying scale and risk.
• Lead and mentor a team of pursuit managers, strategists, specialists and coordinators for primary solutions or clients.
• Develop proposal execution strategy and schedule; assemble proposal response team; develop project execution plan and value proposition/win strategies.
• Ensure conceptual design and functional teams (estimating, project controls, construction, procurement, subcontracts, LIFTT) deliver in accordance with the proposal schedule and governance.
• Monitor and manage pursuit team expenditures to align with approved budgets and participate in cost review to influence competitive cost and value responses.
• Facilitate and lead risk determination/mitigation and leadership approval discussions; support negotiation and deal closure.
• Facilitate transition of proposal basis information to project execution team upon contract signature.
• Manage day-to-day supervision, career development and progression of a team of solution pursuit managers, and enforce processes, best practices and tools for sales and pursuit teams.
• Support development of sector/solution capture strategies and budgets; ensure appropriate resourcing and monitor KPI performance to inform prioritization and selection of pursuits.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience; 10+ years of engineering, project execution or technical pursuit management experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical project execution field.
