WH & Logistics Supervisor

About the Role

The Warehouse & Transport Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse and logistics fleet at LIXIL (Thailand) PCL. The primary goal is to ensure goods are received, stored and dispatched accurately while maintaining cost-effective and timely transportation to customers. This role balances operational oversight, team leadership and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Warehouse Management: Oversee inbound and outbound processes to ensure 100% accuracy in stock movement; manage warehouse layout to maximize storage and ensure efficient material flow (FIFO/FEFO); lead regular cycle counts and annual physical inventory checks to minimize variances and prevent loss; enforce Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) standards and maintain 5S and cleanliness.
• Transport & Logistics Management: Optimize delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely arrivals and reduce fuel and operational costs; monitor condition and maintenance schedules of company vehicles and ensure compliance with transportation laws; supervise drivers, monitor performance and safety records; coordinate with 3PL providers to meet SLAs when additional capacity is required.
• Administration & Reporting: Monitor and report on key metrics such as delivery lead times, shipping errors and transport costs; act as first point of contact for operational issues including damaged goods, delivery delays or vehicle breakdowns; identify supply chain bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance productivity.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 35 years of experience in warehouse and transport operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel) and experienced in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP (SAP/Oracle) or Transport Management Systems (TMS).
• Leadership: Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and discipline staff effectively.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with local transportation laws, customs regulations (if applicable) and safety standards.
