About the Role

We’re looking for an AI Engineer, or for the right experience a Senior AI Engineer, to join our Applied AI team in Bangkok. In this role you’ll design and build AI solutions ranging from AI agents and large language models (LLMs) to more traditional machine learning systems, working in an international team and taking ownership of scalable, business-relevant AI applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and build end-to-end AI/ML solutions — agents, RAG systems, ML pipelines; lead design of complex solutions
• Translate business requirements into solution architecture that balances technical feasibility with business impact
• Develop and improve cloud-native applications (Azure preferred)
• Apply and uphold modern software engineering practices — Python, Git, CI/CD, testing; contribute to code reviews and design discussions
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain production AI systems (MLOps)
• Integrate AI solutions with APIs, databases and data platforms
• Mentor less experienced engineers and share knowledge through Norrin’s AI Guild
• Work directly with clients and align expectations across technical and non-technical stakeholders; support presales with technical input and effort estimates

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience building software, data, or AI/ML solutions, with a track record of delivering and running them in production
• Hands-on experience building AI agents and LLM solutions with common libraries and frameworks
• Strong working knowledge of a major cloud platform and its ML tooling — Azure (Azure ML, AI Foundry) preferred; AWS or GCP equivalents welcome
• Strong skills in Python and solid engineering practice — Git, CI/CD, testing, code quality
• Hands-on MLOps: deploying, monitoring, and maintaining models in production
• Solid grasp of APIs, integrations, databases, and SQL; understanding of data engineering principles
• Ability to own delivery end to end, work independently, and guide others; clear communicator for technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong English (written and spoken)
• Legal right to work in Thailand or a valid work permit (we cannot provide visa or work permit sponsorship)
• Educational background in computer science, engineering, applied mathematics, or a comparable field (or equivalent practical experience)

Additional Information

• Location: Bangkok; hybrid work arrangement
• Pluses: experience with Docker, Terraform or other IaC; familiarity with LLM tooling (e.g. LangGraph, Azure AI Foundry); ML tooling (Pandas, NumPy, Azure AI Services); data platforms (Databricks, Microsoft Fabric); full-stack or consulting experience
