Voice Data Collector – Thailand

About the Role

We are currently looking for people to participate in our remote voice data collection project – Sonata. This project aims to record Thai speech in the form of voicemails that will be used to improve voice recognition technologies for virtual assistants.

Responsibilities

• Record 20 short voicemails covering a variety of provided scenarios.
• Ensure each voicemail scenario is at least 40 seconds long.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years or older.
• Idiomatic fluency in Thai.
• Reside in Thailand.
• Own an iPhone XR or a newer iPhone model, running the latest available iOS version (iOS 18 for iPhone XR/XS/XS Max, iOs 26 for iPhone 11 and newer models fabricated after 2019).

Location

This is a remote project in Thailand.

Time Commitment

Up to 1 hour (including preparation time) to record the 20 voicemail scenarios.
