Applications Specialist (Medical Diagnostics / Nuclear Medicine)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Application Specialist to provide technical and clinical application support in Nuclear Medicine and medical diagnostic solutions. This role will work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure successful product implementation, training, and clinical adoption.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and application support for medical diagnostic systems, particularly in Nuclear Medicine departments
• Conduct product evaluations, system validation, and performance testing
• Develop validation protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical reports
• Deliver product training and application support to customers across assigned products and technologies
• Act as a key contact for product-related inquiries from customers, sales, and service teams
• Support Sales and Product teams during the sales cycle by demonstrating clinical value and application usage
• Assist in new product launches, workshops, and marketing activities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with hospital users and key stakeholders
• Monitor application-related issues and provide monthly reports to management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Radiological Technology, or related scientific field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in application support, clinical setting, or medical device industry (preferred)
• Experience in Nuclear Medicine, Radiology, or Orthopedic applications is an advantage
• Experience in Operating Room (OR) environment will be a plus
• Strong analytical thinking and technical troubleshooting skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good command of English (both written and spoken)
• Willing to travel upcountry
