About the Role

Reporting to the Facility Director, the Site Manager (Data Center) will manage Data Center Facilities Operations teams to ensure efficient utilisation of facilities resources, lowest possible operating PUE, consistent maintenance practices and service uptime. This role is based in Chonburi, Thailand and requires hands-on leadership and technical ownership of the campus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistency in maintenance procedures for DC critical electrical, cooling, fire protection and Building Management System (BMS) infrastructure per Digital Edge maintenance policy, manufacturer recommendations and customer specifications.
• Perform risk assessments and develop method statements for critical infrastructure maintenance, upgrades or replacements.
• Manage and coordinate maintenance contractors and service providers to support operations, maintenance, design and construction objectives.
• Provide 3rd-level on-call emergency response and support to maintain operations, availability and electrical infrastructure efficiency, and drive energy improvement programs to lower operating PUE.
• Maintain vendor relationships to secure required service support and competitive pricing for maintenance, repair and installations.
• Implement training and mentoring for Facilities Operations team members to ensure knowledge refresh, skills upgrade and quality outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health & safety, information security management, environmental management systems, incident management and all legal/regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate and support certification initiatives such as ISMS, ISO 27001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, PCI DSS, and related development/implementation activities guided by HQ.
• Support Sales, Sales Engineering and Product Management for key customer and hyperscale deals.
• Champion and implement policies on health & safety, environment, energy, quality, information security and business continuity, ensuring adherence to incident reporting and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• More than 8 years of experience in data center operations and facilities management.
• Extensive operational knowledge of electrical distribution (switchgear, transformers, automatic transfer switches, UPS, STS, DRUPS, battery management systems, generators, PDUs), cooling systems, fire protection and BMS.
• Facility management and/or data centre certifications such as CDCP, CDCS or equivalent.
• Strong project management, troubleshooting and organisational skills.
• Effective communication skills to interact with internal and external customers; fluency in Thai and English is essential.
• Experience in telecommunications or digital infrastructure sectors, especially process-oriented experience, is beneficial.
• Team player, hands-on, able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
