Hilltop Wellness Resort is a boutique wellness destination in Phuket dedicated to helping guests reconnect with themselves through wellness, movement, mindfulness, nature, and meaningful human connection. This is an on-site role based in Phuket, Thailand.

About the Role

The Resident Wellness Host & Partnerships Lead is responsible for creating a welcoming and engaging community atmosphere for guests while developing partnerships that contribute to the growth of Hilltop Wellness Resort. This role combines guest experience, community building, wellness sales consultation, partnership development, retreat support, content creation, and wellness program development.

Responsibilities

• Community Host & Guest Experience: Welcome and connect with guests on arrival; host weekly Welcome Circles and community gatherings; facilitate introductions; organise community dinners, tea gatherings, reflection circles and wellness activities; support solo travellers and long-stay guests; gather guest feedback and build genuine relationships throughout stays.
• Wellness Sales Consultation: Serve as first point of contact for wellness inquiries; respond to wellness and retreat enquiries; guide potential guests to suitable programs; conduct consultation calls when required; follow up leads and support conversion into bookings (note: this role does NOT manage general hotel reservations, OTA messaging, room allocation, transfers, or payments).
• Partnerships & Business Development: Build and maintain relationships with yoga teachers, retreat leaders, wellness coaches, influencers, wellness travel agencies, corporate wellness organisers and conscious travel communities; identify retreat opportunities and collaboration projects; generate qualified leads and attend networking events.
• Retreat & Program Support: Coordinate guest experiences during retreats; assist visiting teachers and facilitators; ensure retreat activities run smoothly; support special events and workshops to create memorable retreat experiences.
• Content Creation & Storytelling: Capture and share authentic moments via photo and video; produce Instagram Stories and Reels; support newsletters and marketing campaigns; encourage guest testimonials and user-generated content to communicate the Hilltop Wellness philosophy.
• Wellness Experience Development: Monitor wellness trends and guest interests; suggest new activities and experiences; participate in retreat development and help improve existing wellness programs to support innovation within the guest experience.

Qualifications

• Essential: Fluent English speaker (native or near-native); passion for wellness, yoga, mindfulness, personal growth and healthy living; strong communication and relationship-building skills; comfortable speaking in front of groups; experience in hospitality, wellness, retreats, guest experience, community management or partnership development; strong organisational skills; self-motivated and proactive; comfortable using social media and basic content creation tools.
• Preferred: Female candidate preferred; experience working in wellness resorts, retreat centres, yoga studios or conscious communities; background in yoga, meditation, breathwork, coaching or holistic wellness; experience living/working in Bali, Koh Phangan, Chiang Mai or similar wellness destinations; photography and videography skills; additional languages are an advantage.
