Project Manager – Banking (Lending and SAP Implementation)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead strategic banking transformation initiatives in Thailand. This role offers the opportunity to manage large-scale projects, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and drive business-critical programs within the banking and financial services sector.

Location: Bangkok, Thailand (Hybrid)
Contract Duration: 12 Months (Extendable)

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of banking and financial services projects
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and governance
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across technology, operations, compliance, and business units
• Engage with senior stakeholders and executive leadership
• Ensure successful project execution while meeting regulatory and compliance requirements
• Drive project reporting, risk management, and change management activities

Qualifications

• 5–12 years of Project Management experience
• Strong experience within Banking or Financial Services
• Proven track record managing Lending, Asset Finance, Payments, or Core Banking projects
• Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills
• Experience delivering projects using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies
• Fluent Thai communication skills (spoken and written) – Mandatory
• Preferred: PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent certifications; experience with banks or financial institutions in Thailand or Southeast Asia; exposure to AML, KYC, Compliance, Regulatory, or Digital Banking projects; experience with SAP implementation projects
