Investment Accounting Specialist

About the Role

This position has direct responsibilities for investment accounting, including handling accounting entries, controlling accounts and records, and preparing reports to group office, management and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review accounting entries related to investment under group IFRS and local statutory basis.
• Handle investment analysis, IFRS templates and other reports required by group office and management.
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations related to investment and other accounts to ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting records.
• Prepare OIC, statutory and cash flow reports related to investment to comply with related regulations.
• Coordinate with local investment, group investment accounting and GFS team for investment-related issues.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors on internal control and financial audits and with other departments for related issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting function with background in insurance or finance business.
• Audit experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of IFRS and Thai GAAP.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
