Field Service Engineer (Pharma)-based in Taipei

Responsibilities

• Support commissioning and installations and SATs of new machines on customers’ sites and, where necessary, during finalization and FAT at our CoCs; update and complete site documentation.
• Perform general field service activities on site including preventative maintenance, calibrations and overhauls, fault finding, machine inspections and spare parts listing.
• Provide ASM and ASA technical advice to customers on site or via telecommunication; clarify problems and solutions with CoCs where necessary.
• Recommend necessary technical improvements (overhauls, modernizations, modifications) and spare-parts replacements.
• Complete reporting and filings for service activities; explain the service job to customers before and after completion; create and follow up on open points.
• As Senior FSE: perform site management and supervise and train other field service engineers.

Qualifications

• Prefer local Taiwanese who can communicate local language.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechatronic or related field.
• Working experience in Pharmaceutical / Packaging industry (5 years or more).
• Good verbal and written English skills.
• Ability to make updates to Rockwell / Siemens PLC programs and HMI.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% in the Asia / Pacific Region.
