Responsibilities

• Characterization of next-generation Head technology design evaluations (DOE) including planning, analysis and preparing detailed reports with accurate conclusions.
• Work cross-functionally with planning, process, test and design teams worldwide to align evaluations to wafer design roadmap, back end technology roadmap and product timelines.
• Review DOE evaluation requests in detail and ensure test data plans are aligned to the evaluation objectives.
• Qualify new evaluation test data sets and verify data integrity prior to publication of summary reports.
• Ensure timely publication of initial evaluation reports to meet overall cycle-time commitments from program management.
• Conduct experiments with process/test/PM/design teams to investigate anomalies in results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• At least 5+ years of experience in the HDD industry is preferred; experience in electronics or semiconductors will be considered.
