Agent - Air Gateway (Air Warehouse)

About the Role

Oversee Air Gateway (air warehouse) operations to ensure optimal effectiveness and efficiency, manage resources and contracted manpower, drive process improvements, and maintain compliance with company policies while coordinating with carriers, customers and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse operations at optimal effectiveness and efficiency levels
• Assign team resources, including contracted manpower, to ensure smooth operations meeting customer and company requirements
• Drive process improvements in gateway processes and system usage per company requirements
• Enforce compliance awareness and execution per company policies
• Make space reservations with airlines per company strategies and customer demands
• Communicate with Customer Service and Operations Teams on shipment status and adjustments required to consolidation planning
• Monitor shipment track & trace and communicate with carriers and service providers for irregularities
• Take on additional assignments as required to meet company needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred)
• Minimum 3 years' experience in freight forwarding or carrier industry
• Experience with airport operations, customs and consolidation planning
• Good knowledge of cargo consolidation
• Continuous improvement driven with problem-solving and business analytical skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Thai
• Be a good team player and effectively communicate to obtain positive results
• Good time management skills and attention to detail
• Current or previous dangerous goods certification is a plus
• Willing to work on a shift rotation basis
