About the job

Encourage IKEA store visitors to stay longer and enjoy more by offering great food at low prices, creating reasons for customers to return, and providing co-workers with opportunities to rest and re-charge. Lead the IKEA Food function to build business and people together, ensuring compliance with IKEA Quality and Food Safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage IKEA Food to fulfil the purpose of the function by building business and people together.
• Operate IKEA Food in accordance with legislation and IKEA Quality and Food Safety requirements.
• Implement the IKEA HACCP plan to meet and secure store requirements and ensure HACCP routines are known and followed in daily work.
• Implement the range matrix (global and national) to secure a strong IKEA Food range identity that distinguishes the store from competitors.
• Act in accordance with the IKEA Sustainability Direction and work with the team on sustainability actions such as waste management and investments.
• Create awareness of IKEA Food as the most important in-store marketing tool to maximize the store’s sales potential.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience from high-volume retail or multi-unit food service industry.
• Successful experience of managing a large team and managing managers.
• Experience providing clear direction, creating and implementing action plans, setting budgets, and meeting and following up on goals.
• Extensive and advanced experience in commercial/retail management or as a multi-unit food service manager with proven leadership capabilities and a strong track record.
• English communication skills.
• MS Office proficient.
