Field Services Engineer

About the Role

A Day in Your Life at MKS: As a Field Service Engineer, you will handle on-site installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, support customers and resolve system issues. Ability to work under pressure and clear technical reporting skills in English are essential. Reporting to Regional service manager.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site system installations, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
• Assist customers to use MKS equipment smoothly and act as preliminary contact for all customer system problems
• Provide professional service to achieve the best customer satisfaction & loyalty
• Effectively implement daily service tasks by following defined processes and follow up until closure
• Build up and maintain good customer relationships

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of Flex/HDI PCB or Laser hardware service experiences
• University qualifications in electrical, electronic, or mechanical engineering
• Has the flexibility to travel domestically and regionally as required
• Good communication skills, customer oriented, able to prioritize and follow through tasks, work under pressure, able to work flexible hours and overtime if required
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to communicate and write technical reports in English; ability to communicate in Chinese would be an advantage
