Market and Business Analyst

About the Role

Position: Commercial Analyst - iTail
Work location: Bangkok (Onsite)

Responsibilities

• Collect, consolidate, and analyze market data from internal and external sources
• Support market sizing, segmentation, and trend analysis
• Track competitor activities and industry developments
• Support customer deep-dive analysis (needs, behaviors, pain points)
• Identify potential opportunities such as unmet needs or whitespace areas
• Assist in translating insights into actionable business implications
• Support strategy planning processes (annual plan, strategy refresh, etc.)
• Assist in developing analyses to support strategic initiatives and growth opportunities
• Prepare clear and concise presentation materials for management
• Support development of executive-level slides (e.g., strategy deck, business review)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Commercial, Marketing, Finance)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in business, Economics, Marketing, Data Analytics or related fields
• 3–5 years of experience in market analysis, business analytics, or strategy-related roles
• Experience in FMCG / food / commercial business is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (Mandatory)
• Data visualization tools (Power BI / Tableau) are a plus
• Ability to structure analysis and communicate insights clearly
• Proactive, with the ability to anticipate business needs and respond effectively to management requirements
• Good command of English, with ability to communicate effectively
